Brinkman named to PSUAC East All-Conference Team
University Park, PA - Penn State Scranton's Starting corner infielder Alex Brinkman earned top conference honors being selected as a PSUAC East 1st Team All-Conference infielder. In his first season at Scranton Alex batted an impressive .356 with .468 on base percentage and slugging percentage of .589. He also tallied 3 home runs 22 RBIs and swiped 12 stolen bases which landed him a top 10 spot in the conference. In addition, Brinkman crossed the plate 28 times and accumulated 32 hits on the season. On the defensive side, Alex was a solid 1st and 3rd baseman with .959 fielding percentage. Alex is a second year transfer from Keystone College majoring in Business.
