This week's female Player of the Week is, starting forward, Courtney Varcoe:

In an impressive win over Penn State Mont Alto senior forward Courtney Varcoe led Scranton with a double-double, scoring 12 points and pulling down 14 boards in 31 minutes of play. Courtney went 4-6 from the charity stripe and leads her team in rebounds and field goal percentage.

 In Scranton's victory over Penn State Lehigh Valley this Saturday,  senior Salim Wyche led the team with 31 points on 8-15 shooting from the floor, an impressive 53.3% field goal percentage. While shooting 67% from three going, 4-6 and 73% from the free throw line with 11-15, Wyche led all scorers in the game.  Wyche also tallied 4 boards, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal in the come from behind win
