Week 11: Matt Dessoye

DUNMORE, PA – This week PSU Scranton traveled to D3, King’s College where junior point guard, Matt Dessoye dropped a season-high 34 points on 9-11 shooting behind the arc, 7-10 from the charity stripe and 9-14 from the floor. Dessoye also ripped down four rebounds, dished five assists and had three steals in a 109-99 loss on the road. On Friday, in a close 86-84 win against Five Towns College, Matt added 22 points, shooting 7-14 from the field, 3-8 from deep and 5-9 from the free throw line. Dessoye wrapped up the week with an additional 14-point performance, going 2-5 from three-point range, 6-8 from the free throw line, recorded four assists and two steals in a 75-70 loss to Williamson Trade School. Following the conclusion of the week, Matt Dessoye tallied an impressive 70 total points, hitting 14 three-pointers and went 18-27 from the free throw line and dished 11 assists in the three-game stretch for the Lions.
