Spring Semester PSUAC Academic All-Conference team named
DUNMORE, PA -- A total of 25 spring and winter sport student-athletes were named PSUAC Academic All-Conference at the culmination of the recent semester.
To earn a place on the PSUAC Academic All-Conference Team, student-athletes must attain a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the semester of competition or hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
PSU Scranton Baseball produced 14 honorees, eight who earned Dean's List accolades. During the semester, the baseball team posted the highest semester and cumulative GPA of any team at a 3.36.
Softball had 10 of 15 on the roster earning the honor. Seventy percent of the 8-member women's basketball team claimed the distinction and men's basketball collected five awards.
In addition to the achievement, 15 winter and spring student-athletes received Dean's List recognition from the University after compiling a spring semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Scranton's 25 honorees represent over half of its winter and spring student-athletes. Overall during the 2022-23 academic year, 68 Penn State Scranton student-athletes were named to the PSUAC All-Academic Team.
