PSUAC Invitational hosted by Penn State Scranton

Dunmore, Pa. - Penn State Scranton will host the 2023 PSUAC Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, October 28, 2023 on the Scranton campus.  This years invitatonal will feature teams from Penn State Brandywine, DuBois, Fayette, Schuylkill and Scranton and is open to PSUAC campuses who are interested in fielding club or individual runners. The course is one of the more difficult in the area, with two large hills leading from the athletic fields to the top of campus. The women's race will start at 11:00 am and the men will follow at 12:00 pm.  Portions of the course are technical, featuring a mix of mulch and dirt trail through the woods, with grass hills, steep inclines and some pavement crossings. Wil-Time Event Management will be using chip timing for participants and Penn State Scranton will live stream the finish on the PSU Campus Network. The course has been adjusted from previos years to include a larger section in the woods and the removal of warning track portions on the baseball and softball field.  This will open the new course up for a record to be set.  Previous course records are held by PSU Scranton's Mason Natalini and Penn State Fayettes Chloe Kalp
