Trail's Toth commits to Scranton Lady Lions Volleyball

DUNMORE, Pa. – Madalyn Toth, a 2021 graduate of Lackawanna Trail Jr/Sr High School, has signed with the Penn State Scranton Women's Volleyball team and will join the Lady Lions this fall as a freshman outside and middle hitter.

As a hitter, Madalyn was a key part of the Lackawanna Trail offense and earned the school's coaches award for most improved last season. On top of improvement on the court, Maddie earned Honor Roll for her performance in the classroom.

Toth committed to Penn State Scranton after being recruited by Head Coach Molly Demkosky. "She is a hard worker who has shown dedication on the court and in the classroom," commented Demkosky, who is herself a former academically and athletically decorated Volleyball and Softball player at PSU Scranton. "She has a great attitude and we are looking forward to having her enthusiasm on the court."

Madalyn, who will enter Division of Undergraduate Studies this fall, will join the Lady Lions volleyball team in August and hopes to make friends and improve her game.

*There is currently an open assistant coaching position to coach Madalyn and the rest of the Lady Lions Volleyball team!
