Lady Lions fall to Falcons in non-conference match-up

DUNMORE, Pa. – The Lady Lions dropped to Cedar Crest 7-1 in non-conference play Tuesday afternoon at home.  Scranton slip to 1-2 in overall play while the Falcon move up to 2-1.

The Falcons were led by Rebecca Verdi, with two early game goals. Scrantons lone shot on goal by senior, forward, Lucy Adams found the net in the second and put the Lady Lions on the board while senior keeper Trinity Gammaitoni had 11 saves. 

The Lady Lions will travel this Saturday to face conference opponent Penn State Mont Alto.
