DUNMORE, PA – Tonight PSU Scranton plays host for conference rivals PSU Hazleton in the first game of a two game season series.

Scranton took a 1-0 series lead on Hazleton following a 82-63 win at home following a career game double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds from sophomore guard, Danielle Powell and a 15 point performance from sophomore guard, Rachel Lewis. Sophomore forward, Jess Berger contributed a career-high 18 rebounds for Scranton.

Hazleton was led by senior guard, McKenzie Prutsman with 26 points, six rebounds and five assists on the night.

Hazleton evened up the season series off an impressive performance from their senior Prutsman's 33 points, six rebounds, eight assists and four steals, defeating Scranton 79-54.

Scranton was led by Berger with 10 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks and Lewis added eight points, five rebounds and two steals.
