Bio

Mike Latrella is entering his third year as assistant coach for the PSU Scranton Men's Basketball team. Coach Latrella posted a one year stint on the PSU Scranton coaching staff during the 2013-14 season under current head coach, Chris Sload, before accepting a head coaching position at Luzerne County Community College, where he coached for four seasons. Latrella a graduate of the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science in politcal science, also coached for four years at Johnson College, two years at Forest City High School and was the founder of the NEPA Warriors AAU Travel Basketball team.

Coach Latrella is a Sales Manager at Northeastern Security Systems. He is happily married to his wife Flo for 32 years. The couple has one son, Michael.
