PHEONIXVILLE, PA - The 2019 Penn State Scranton Lions will kick off the spring season on the road this weekend as they face USCAA member school, Valley Forge University. The Lions, comprised of 6 returning players and 14 new recruits this season will take the field for the first time as a team Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Pheanoxville, PA for a double-header against the Patriots starting at 2 pm.
Head Coach Steve Plevyak, in his 11th season, along with returning Assistant Coach Paul Osborne look forward to seeing the team perform against the Patriots, who are 1-8 after their spring training in South Carolina last week. They hope to gauge their teams on-field chemistry in order to prepare for their home conference opener on March 22 against Penn State York at 2 pm.
