On Sunday, November 29 the Lady Lions hosted the Lady Knights of Central Penn College as they tried for their first win of the season. The game started close as each team exchanged baskets and the lead. The first quarter ended even at 10-10 but the Lady Lions took control in the second quarter and did not relinquish their lead for the rest of the game. Penn State Scranton would outscore Central Penn by 27 points to seal the 69-38 victory, clinching their first win of the year. All three returning Lady Lions had a double-double leading Penn State Scranton to the win. Katie Hart led the way with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks, followed by Sara Moss, with 14 points, 11 assists and 4 steals and Mikaela Brutico with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists.
