The Penn State Scranton Lady Lions hosted the Falcons of Davis College for their second game in three days to kick start their season. The game started out slow as both teams struggled to find their rhythm from the floor. As the first half came to an end the Lady Lions went into the locker room down 33-17. To start off the second half Penn State Scranton came out on fire outscoring the Falcons 14-9 in the third quarter cutting the lead to 11 with 10 minutes remaining in the game. Despite tough post play and gutsy play Davis College held on to seal the 62-39 victory. Leading the ladies for the second straight game was sophomore forward, Katie Hart with a second consecutive double-double of 20 points and 11 boards. Also contributing to the effort was sophomore guard, Sara Moss with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals and sophomore forward, Mikaela Brutico with 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. The Lady Lions will travel to take on SUNY Delhi on Monday, November 23, tip off at 5 PM.
