Men's Cross Country kicks off season at Misericordia Invitational

Dallas Twp., Pa. — Penn State Scranton Men's Cross Country kicked off the season at the Misericordia Invitational Friday night. 

PSU Scranton placed 10th in the meet, just behind Wilkes University with an average time of 15.44 on the 4k course. 

Mason Natalini finished the top half of the field 120 runners, covering the course in 14.25.2 and scoring 45 for Scranton and Will Leety finsihed second for the squad with a score of 53 clocking in at 15.05.  

Rounding out Scranton's team score was newcommer Aiden Clarke (15.44.2) senior captain Matt Diehl (16.26), and Paul Krzan (17.03.2). 

The Lions will revisit Misericordia at the Cougar Classic on September 16 at Letterkenny Field in Dallas.
