Bio

This fall Jesse Novatski is entering his first year as the Assistant Men's Soccer coach at Penn State Scranton. Coach Jesse started working full time as a player development coach with the New York Red Bulls youth training programs in 2015. His experience includes focusing and developing the skills and enjoyment of recreational players ages pre-K and improving speed, agility and quickness among the elite players in the program. Following his stint with the Red Bulls Jesse relocated to West Chester, PA where he was the Junior Academy Program Director and Summer Select Program Director at 360 Sports in late 2015, acting as lead coach for these programs. Prior to accepting the assistant coaching position at PSU Scranton, Coach Jesse was the Head Coach of the Abington Heights Junior High School soccer team for two seasons in 2017 and 2018.

Jesse was born in Sao Paulo, Brasil and came to the United States at the age of five. As a player, Jesse played for various local youth soccer clubs including the Pittston Stoners, Northeast Attack, Abington Lightning, Spuer Nova FC and EPYSA ODP. Prior to graduating from Abington Heights High School, Jesse was selected to train and play in Argentina, where he played against Newell's Old Boys, Club Atlético Rosario Central, Club Atlético River Plate and Club Atlético Boca Juniors. As a senior at Abington, Coach Jesse was captain and received the Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award and made the league first team as well as the All-Region team. Upon graduating in 2005 Jesse went on to play at the collegiate level at Kutztown University and Keystone College.
