Lions split home stand falling, 81-66, to Shenango

PSU Scranton (3-11, 3-13) hosted PSUAC newcomer PSU Shenango (5-5, 6-10) in the second game of a two-game home stand. The first half was a barn burner with both teams struggling to take control of the game. The game was back and forth but close as Shenango took a 39-32 lead into halftime over Scranton. The second half was a different ball game as Shenango found their rhythm taking control of the game early in the period. With the time waning down Scranton tried to claw their way back into the game but Shenango was too strong taking the game 81-66.

Scranton was led by junior forward, Tom Gonzales with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block and freshman guard, Cameron Jordan with 11 points and 3 assists.

Shenango was led by freshman forward, Larry Ransom with a double-double 24 points and 18 rebounds. Freshman guards, Ramell Askerneese and Brayden Martin contributed 20 points and 19 points for the visitors in the 81-66 road win.
