Friday, January 23, 2015, Penn State Worthington Scranton (7-9 overall, 4-4 conference) hit the road and took on PSUAC conference rivals Penn State Wilkes-Barre (9-9 overall, 6-3 conference). Penn State Worthington Scranton jumped out to an early 5-0 lead until Penn State Wilkes-Barre battled back. There were 3 lead changes throughout the first half before Penn State Wilkes-Barre took a 41-26 advantage into halftime.
Penn State Worthington Scranton fought back starting the second half on a 4-0 run cutting the lead to 9. The Lions fought back to get within 4 points of Penn State Wilkes-Barre but fell short of the win, 78-70. Penn State Worthington Scranton had 4 players in double figures led by freshman Will Yancey with 16 points and 11 rebounds and junior Hasiin Dixon with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Freshman Tyrek Cooper added 13 points and senior Jon Devine added 10 points for the Lions.
