Baseball hosts Schuylkill for Senior Day

Dunmore, PA - Men's Baseball will host their Senior Day today, Monday, April 25, 2022 against Penn State Schuylkill at 3:00 pm on the Matt McGloin Baseball field on campus. The game, which is a rescheduled game from April 19, 2022 for rain and snow, will honor two four-year seniors and team captains.
Outfielder and pitcher Joe Talutto III is four-year member of the baseball team and has served as captain for the last three seasons. Joe is a supply chain management major from Dunmore, PA who has earned PSUAC Academic All Conference every season of his career. After graduation, Joe will be working at Cooks Brothers Distribution in Pittston as an intern in Supply Chain Management.
Short-stop and pitcher Carson Cacioppo is also graduating in two weeks. A Scranton native from Holy Cross high school, Carson is a four year member of the mens baseball team, the last two serving as a captain. Carson excels in the classroom as an Accounting major, earning Dean's List, USCAA All-Academic, and PSUAC Academic All Conference every season of his career. Carson is a board member on the Penn State Scranton Student-Athlete Advisory committee and after graduation Carson will pursue an internship in Philadelphia for RSM in their accounting department.
