(1) Arel Lamour, cashed in a double-double with 27 points and 11 rebounds vs PSU Hazleton on January 9. (24) Danielle Powell led the Lady Lions with a double-double of her own with 19 points and 10 rebounds in a conference win vs PSU Hazleton at home.

Lamour and Powell power Scranton at home

This week’s Player of the Week honors are shared by sophomores Arel Lamour and Danielle Powell. On Wednesday, January 9, both athletes led their respective team with a double-double at home vs Penn State Hazleton. Danielle had an impressive 19 points and 10 boards in the lopsided 82-63 win for the Lady Lions. On the men’s side, Arel cashed in for a 27 point and 11 rebound performance in a heart wrenching 88-85 loss for the Lions.
