Kyle Kelly

Kyle Kelly, a Point Guard and Shooting Guard for Penn State Worthington Scranton Men’s Basketball team, said he is humbled and honored to be chosen for Player of the Week.

A native from East Strasbourg South, Kyle decided to attend a smaller campus like PSWS when Coach Sload contacted him. Although he’s only played two seasons, Kelly expressed that his experience so far has been great due to his coaches and teammates.This week alone Kyle dropped 91 points in three games and had a career high 38 in Sunday's nail biter against PSU Dubois.

While only a sophomore, Kelly is setting personal goals in the next two seasons by bringing home a championship and possibly winning Player of the Year or First Team All-Conference. Though it might not be an easy road, Kelly is determined put in the effort in during the off season to become stronger in order to fulfill his dreams.
