Week 4: Christian Toussaint

Dunmore, PA – This week’s Penn State Scranton player of the week is junior forward, Christian Toussaint. On Sunday, the Lions played host to Penn State Greater Allegheny for the third game of a three-game home stand. Toussaint poured in a solid game that saw two goals and one assist. Christian, who serves as a captain, netted his first goal of the season in the first minute of the game off an assist by co-captain Mike Foder, sneaking a shot by the keeper in the lower left corner of the goal to give Scranton an early 1-0 lead. Toussaint found the back of the net for the second time of the game on an assist from James Gonzalez to increase the lead to 3-0 in the 51st minute. A short six minutes later in the 57th minute, Christian returned the favor to Foder with an assist for a score to put the game out of reach, 5-0. Scranton went on to win 6-0 over Penn State Greater Allegheny to stay within the hunt for a playoff berth off the stellar performance from Toussaint.
