Brett Seidita

DUNMORE, PA - Brett Seidita hit for a .461 batting average over four games he played in against Penn State Hazleton and Penn State Schuylkill last week. In doing so, he knocked in a pair of RBIs with two doubles against the visiting Lions. When asked how he hit so efficiently during the stretch, he stated that he just tries to hit the ball where the other team isn’t with as much power as possible, while trying to never strike out.

The Player of the Week has been consistent at the plate all season with a .321 batting average, but last week was a special string of games, as that number sky-rocketed. Although Seidita hit well himself, the team lost all four games. He didn’t just hit, however, he also scored three runs and even stole a base. Seidita’s game is all-around; he does all he can on the diamond to win and last week is the perfect example of that. His secret to consistent efficiency came out during a conversation, though. “I eat a burrito before every game,” Seidita stated. Not your average burritos, I guess.
