DTAG Ballers win it all

In the second championship game of the Co-Ed Intramural Basketball Tournament, the DTAG Ballers defeated the Big Ballers 52-48, taking home the title. The game went back in time, as both teams exchanged the lead back and forth. The DTAG Ballers struggled in the first half, scoring only 19 points. Big Ballers team member Matt Murray led his team in the first half with 6 points in the 22-point, Big Baller lead. As the second half began, the DTAG Ballers came out fighting as Gallagher scored 12 points and fellow teammate Casey Holman provided efficient defense too close the gap. As time ran out, the DTAG Ballers were on the path to victory as the Big Ballers began to foul to save time. The DTAG Ballers eventually reached their goal as substantial defense shut down the Big Ballers' offense. DTAG Baller Bryan Gallagher, who finished Tuesday's game with 41 points, led his team to victory with 20 points. Big Baller team member Matt Murray, coming off a 39-point, buzzer-beating-three victory Tuesday, led his team today with 22 points.
