Kasson and Murray set pace on home course

On October 1 PSU Scranton cross country hosted their first PSUAC meet in over two years. Following a lengthy field renovation project the course received a much needed facelift. The chilly day featured many firsts for not only the course but also a couple team accomplishments. PSU Scranton freshmen Alicia Kasson and Matt Murray both set new course records for the new men's and women's courses. Kasson and Murray capitalized on impressive finishes at last weeks meet at PSU Mont Alto and are two strong ahtletes to watch for in the upcoming conference championship meet at the end of the month. For the first time in program history PSU Schuylkill's men's and women's teams took home first place trophies.
